Solid Brass Bat Door Knocker

Description This quirky little Bat Door Knocker is made from cast brass here in the UK, using traditional sand casting techniques. He hangs from a log, behind which is the fixing point. The head of the Bat is rapped against the striking plate at the bottom. The excellent detail of the casting, shows the Bat with his folded-in wings and also detail his feet and head. Sizes: 140mm (5 1/2″) high x 50mm (2″) wide. The top fixing is under the Bat’s feet and the lower fixing under the striking plate, which are the only parts that touch the door and are 120mm (4 3/4″) apart. Boxed weight 350g.
