Description These charming Dragonfly door knockers are made from cast brass here in the UK, using traditional sand casting techniques, and make a unique statement on any front door. Foundry cast, from an authentic pattern. This antique style Dragonfly door knocker would be perfectly at home on the door of a cottage, townhouse or modern home. The Dragonfly’s wings are intricately detailed and hover over the door while the head of the Dragonfly is used to rap onto the striking plate. The door knocker is hinged at the end of the tail. The head and tail are the only parts that touch the door. The brass Dragonfly Door Knocker has a polished, unlacquered finish. Dimensions: 160mm wide (6 1/4″) x 130mm (5 1/8″) high over-all x 30mm (1 1/8″) projection. The wings stand 18mm (3/4″) away from the door. The door knocker is attached by 2 bolts that are approximately 95mm (3 3/4″) apart. Unlacquered. Boxed weight 350g.
