Solid Brass OR Chrome Hare Door Knocker

Description This beautiful Hare Door Knocker is made from solid brass.   Made in the UK, using traditional sand casting techniques, it certainly makes a unique statement on any front door. The Chrome version is also solid brass and is then chrome plated. Foundry cast from an authentic pattern, the antique style Hare Door Knocker would be perfectly at home on the door of a cottage, townhouse or modern home. The brass Hare Door Knocker is hand polished with an unlacquered finish. Dimensions: 215mm (8 1/2″) high x 90mm (3 1/2″) wide overall x 50mm (2″) projection. Ring 80mm (3 1/8″) diameter. Overall height of head 155mm (6 1/8″).  Distance between fixing points: 74mm (2 7/8″) between top and centre points and 65mm (2 1/2″) between centre and bottom point behind striking plate. 800g boxed weight. Unlacquered. The door knocker is fixed to the door with 3 threaded bolts which go through the door and are finished with a brass domed nut on the inside.
